Church In The Woods

Over the past two decades our team has walked alongside and champion international projects. Some of the initiatives we support or have helped develop include:

  • Lionhood House (India) – A home for orphaned children with mentorship roles for widows and integrated art, music, and animal therapy.

  • Rescuing Children from Impending Harm – South Omo, Ethiopia
We partner with local leaders to rescue “mingi” children—those deemed cursed and condemned to death under tribal tradition—by providing them safety at a nearby rescue center.

  • The Pillalu House – Vijayawada, India
We provided abandoned children in rural Vijayawada with food, clothing, education, and housing through a locally run children’s home.

  • At-Risk Youth – Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
We ran an after-school program for girls once forced to work in trash dumps, offering safety, education, discipleship, and mentorship.

  • Feed ’em Friday – COVID-19 Food Relief, Atlanta, USA
We delivered over 10,000 meals to struggling families during the pandemic through a global network sending groceries directly to homes.

  • Taliban Relief for Families – Afghanistan/Pakistan
We work with a partner ministry to relocate and support families fleeing Taliban persecution, providing shelter, food, and resources to rebuild their lives.

  • Reaching Youth – China
We connect with young people in China to provide mentorship, encouragement, and spiritual guidance in challenging environments.

  • Rivers of Mercy Children's Home- Anapra, Mexico

  • Collaborated with program staff on the design and implementation of psychosocial support programs for kids in residence and attending the connected school.

  • Project Hope-Ciudad Juarez, Mexico

  • Facilitated the design and implementation of a reading intervention program for kids behind in school.

  • Soul Spin- Atlanta, USA

  • Collaborated with local public/low-income housing communities to implement a youth DJ program, combining music & graphic design with leadership skills and social-emotional development.
